The Lysosome
Lysosomes are responsible for digesting material within the cell and storing waste. Anytime the cell recieves food, lysosmes go to work. But even when there is no food, they still work. This leads to the digestion of fellow organelles and widespread cell death. As such it is common in malnutrition and digestive diseases.
